Parents’ Evenings: Working in Partnership

At Mossbourne Fobbing Academy, we believe that strong partnerships between home and school are essential to ensuring every student succeeds. We maintain regular communication with parents and carers through email, phone calls and meetings so that each child is fully supported both academically and pastorally.

Parents’ Evenings provide an important opportunity to:

• review your child’s progress across their subjects
• discuss attitude to learning, effort and engagement
• ask questions about teaching and learning
• understand how best to support learning at home

Attendance at Parents’ Evening is compulsory, and all students are expected to attend alongside their parent or carer. Students must attend in full school uniform. This ensures that every family benefits from direct communication with teachers and that students take pride in their learning and conduct.

In Year 11, students and families also take part in Academic Review Meetings, which provide a more detailed overview of current progress, areas for development and the next steps in preparation for final examinations.
