As students approach the end of Year 9, they will soon be selecting their GCSE option subjects to study alongside the core curriculum.

Option choices must be submitted by Wednesday 25th March 2026.

To support families in making this important decision, we will be holding a GCSE Options Evening from 4:00pm–6:00pm on Thursday 19^th March 

To ensure a smooth flow of visitors, we recommend the following attendance windows:

• Forms A–D: 4:00pm–5:00pm
• Forms E–G: 5:00pm–6:00pm

The evening will provide parents and carers with the opportunity to speak directly with subject leaders and teachers about:

• Curriculum content
• Course expectations
• Assessment structures
• Future progression routes

All Year 9 students are expected to attend with their parents or carers and must attend in full school uniform. Attendance at the evening is not compulsory; however, we strongly encourage families to take this opportunity to speak with staff and students so that informed GCSE option choices can be made.
